Hi.

I suggest you do a search within these forums as there are many people who have posted great tips and tricks to help boost your CR and Writing score -- especially helpful to those whom english isn't their native language.

What's your score breakdown?

What also gives you the most trouble (Sentence Completion, Reading in General, etc...)?

What colleges are you applying to?
Remember that some colleges won't be weighing the writing score as much as the CR score, and in some cases will be totally discounting it.

my most trouble part, i think the reading one...coz i dont really understand much what they talking about and what they imply or something like that but also grammar too

my score breakdown is only 350 reading, 530 math...and 300 for writing

I would take a prep course like Princeton Review. You're going to need help on both test strategies and the fundamentals, and PR is definitely the best on strategy. With scores in the 300s your best bet is going to be a course, not self study.

Getting a writing tutor is probably pretty important. With some work, I think you're writing score can go way up. Talk to your English teacher or see if private tutors are available. good luck

Since the SAT only tests 10-15 grammar rules, it is definitely the most "coachable" section of all.

Study Modules Online

I was checkin' a few sites, and I found a couple PDF files that talk about studying for the verbal section.. [http://www.winwithwords.com/study_tools.php] .. check out the Vocab Contest too. It's supposed to be on the GSN. Back to you, Wink.

That winwithwords site is very nice, I wish I had that kind of help when I was taking the SAT. I used the Official SAT book, and the tutorfox new sat guide to help me prepare for the SAT. If you do the same, you should do well on the SAT.
