    Question [Math]How many 4-digit numbers between 5,000 and 10,000 are odd number?

    (A)200
    (B)400
    (C)1000
    (D)2500
    (E)3000

    I got 400 which is chose B, but I am not sure, So i am asking you guys how you do that correctly. And please give me a tips doing this type of counting digits question.

    Hi Tendo J Cai!
    I know that it is too Late to reply but anyways.
    There are total 5001 numbers between 5000 and 10000.
    The basic formula of finding the amount of odd numbers is (10000-5000)/2=2500. So the answer is (D).
