    New GMAT Scholarship

    I am happy to announce that the 2006 Beat The GMAT! Scholarship is now available! I will buy all the GMAT preparation materials for a few deserving people--a package of eight books that includes:

    2 weeks left!

    This is a friendly reminder that the deadline to submit an essay for the Beat The GMAT! Scholarship is April 30.

    There are two weeks left, and no one has submitted an application yet. For those of you just starting your GMAT studies, I encourage you to apply. It's a great way to get some free books for your preparation: a package of 8 texts worth nearly $150.

    Final week to apply!

    One last friendly reminder that this week is the final week to submit an essay for the 2006 Beat The GMAT! Scholarship. There are two scholarships available, and so far I have received just one essay submission.

    I do applaud the initiative; perhaps next time you could post about it far in advance (I assume most people around have already the stuff they need), and, perhaps, mention it on our signature.

    Thanks for the feedback. I just wish to remind everyone that there are only 3 days left for people to apply. Two scholarships are available, yet only TWO people have submitted applications. This is a great opportunity to win some free books.

    Alternatively, for people who have also purchased their books and have begun studying, I encourage you to apply for this scholarship and I will pay you a $150 cash prize. You must have a PayPal account, and indicate that you wish for the cash prize at the end of your e-mail response.

    Once again, the deadline is April 30. All the best!

    Five finalists for the 2006 Beat The GMAT! Scholarship have been selected. Click here to read the applicant essays and to vote for whom you think deserves to win. The community will ultimately decide who deserves the scholarships: the two finalists who receive the most votes will be announced as the winners.
