.doc files? Who downloads them, if they don't know anything about the author. Yeah of course, give me more makro-viruses and what else a stupid .doc file can deliver.
Has anyone downloaded something from this page, and is still able to use his computer?

nice comment , i have downloaded them 3 weeks ago and i have norton so nothing seemed fishy.
but you can take a try as viruses are alwaz in .exe file, i have taken one course on network security and studied viruses in details. Note: i just found www.ets.org/gre very useful this is why i posted few reviews, i am not associated with it, else i would be having a stupid referral link also.

I am of the same opinion. I was excited with the university selection tool at first, but then tried it and I do not believe it is helpful. It ignores too many small but important details in the profile (your research interests, connections of your referees, research and teaching you have done, extracurricular activities etc.) and puts too much weight on GRE. I think this kind of tool can only tell you where about you should look in the rankings but can never advise you about specific universities. For example I want to study at a university strong in macroeconomics, but the tool is advising me to apply to business and agricultural programs. As for the other parts of the website I did not find anything there that I would not know already.
