kennyp
1. Jupiter (is) a gaseous planet (with) an atmosphere composed (most) of hydrogen (and) helium. 'most' should be 'mostly' 2. Challotte Perkins Gilman is known (primarily) as an author (of short) stories, but she also wrote an influential (book argued) for (equal) economic opportunities for women. 'book argued' should be 'book that argued', 'book which argued' or 'book arguing' 3.(Each year) millions (of tons) of fertile topsoil (that) could produce good crops (washed) away by rains. 'washed' should be preceded by 'is' because passive voice is used

learn_to_success
1. Can you explain why "mostly" is used ? It's strange to me. 2. with "equal economic opportunities" we have "adj + adj + noun", so I think "equal" should be change to "equally" because it stand before an adj.???? thanks

Good luck
mayaly
1. the answer is C - most->mostly, becuase the meaning here is "chiefly"or "mainly". mosly= for the most part, predominantly. for the second sentance I agree with Idiot.
