icio80
Hi guys. I have a problem with a grammar question from the TOEFL test of 2004. In my opinion the solution is wrong. The world's water balance is regulated by the constant circulation of water in liquid and vapor tom among the oceans, the atmospheric, and the land. What's the incorrect word ? :hmm: Thanks for a your answer.
armie480
Hi icio80 D: atmospheric -> atmosphere. Btw, I wonder what is 'tom'.
silence
According to my dictionary, tom is a male-cat :)
armie480
According to my dictionary, tom is a male-cat :)Who would have thought? We've got a Cheshire vapour cat! :p All right, I reformulate the question: what does 'tom' do in this sentence? Is it a typo or part of another word, e.g. 'atom', or an odd piece of another sentence?
