Easy one to explain!
These two phrases are kind of opposites; we use result from to express the cause and result in to express the result. Want examples? Of course! <ul>[*]Exposure to cold can result in death.[*]Exposure from cold can result from spending too much time outdoors.[*]Joe's lie resulted in his dismissal from his job.[*]Joe's lie resulted from his lack of confidence.[/list] Clear now? Hope so! Erin |
