With the incorporation of jazz history into current academic curricula, leading jazz musicians are now founding on the faculties of several universities.

Erin here. Guys, there's a cool feature not listed anywhere in this forum. It's the

tag, which will make the text invisible. You can see it if you highlight the text, though. It's good for hiding answers to questions. Watch:

Highlight from here

SPOILER: D is the correct answer.

What would be a substitute for "founding"?

to here.

Hi christation
IMO, the correct one is:
"With the incorporation of jazz history into current academic curricula, leading jazz musicians are now founding being found on the faculties inseveral universities."
BTW, maybe you forgot to type the word "in" and had some typos.
Just a thought.

I think it's not necessary to use "being" here, "musicians are now found" is OK.

I agree with Tho, "being" is not necessary. But what I am confused most is why "on" is before "faculties"

Should it be "in the faculties of several universities" ?

None of you cared about it. Is it a common writing? Please clarify.

Hi, everyone, thank you !
I've checked the question, and because of my fault, of was omitted, but on is right.
Then, what do you think of this?

Following your source, on is right? Is your source believable?

I think there must be a typo "i"=="o". I bet.
Nobody will be able to persuade me that "on" is correct there. I will never use "on".
