I chose (B)
why I chose (B)? I understand that "never" invokes inversion, so we narrow our choices to (A) and (B).
Inversion is Verb+subject -> (B) is correct!
am I right?

I guess that your sentence is a proverb or something like that! so it's not easy to clearly understand its meaning.
