    Can you guys show me how to use "passive and past forms of infinitives and gerunds" ?
    Ex: "The rain seems to have stopped" --> I don't understand

    to have stopped--- present perfect.

    Therefore, I think this sentence means the rain has JUST stopped while the speaker said..

    Hi CAUBEBUTCHI, don't post any such unspecified and vague questions. They're so general that we could not give you enough explained usages in some pages. You'd better open some grammar books to explore yourself and then, when you have more specific and clearer questions, don't hesitate to post them here. Thanks,
