Beside the ages of nine and fifteen, almost all young people undergo a rapid series of physiological changes.
I don't know how to correct. help me please!
Hi, Haohmaku.
I'm sure there's no typing error in this sentence and my choice is A, too.
However, I sill find something confusing. In my opinion, this sentence would mean that: "Almost all young people, who age from nine to fifteen, undergo a rapid series of physiological changes".
Based on my biological knowledge, I think so. Am I right???
This is how I understand the sentence:
1. Nine-year-old people undergo a rapid series of physiological changes.
2. Fifteen-year-old people undergo a rapid series of physiological changes.
3. Besides nine-year-old people and fifteen-year-old people, almost all young people undergo a rapid series of physiological changes.

Please correct my mistakes. Thank you.

Not really. Your sentence only applies to young people who age from nine to fifteen, in other words it specifically excludes those who die before they are nine. This changes the meaning of the sentence. This may become clearer in a different context, eg "Almost all people who smoke damage their health".
My understanding of the sentence is that "almost all young people aged 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15 undergo a rapid series of physiological changes".
