    To my reading, D makes sense but the tense in the sentence seems incorrect to me. I think the correct tense should be the past tense and "come" should be "came".

    10. Geometrically, the hyperbolic functions are related to the hyperbola, -------the trigonometric functions are related to the circle.
    a. just as
    b. same
    c. similar to
    d. and similar
    Among the given choices only A, a subordinate conjunction, can stand before a sentence therefore, no doubt, it is the correct answer.

    14. The settings of Eudora's stories may be rather limited, but ------about human naura is quire broad
    a. exposes
    b. exposes that
    c. she exposes
    d. what she exposes
    D is the correct answer. What we should fill in the blank has to be a noun or a noun phrase.

    22. Onyx is a mineral that can be reconized its regular and straight parallel bands of white, black, or brown
    A is the correct answer, "recognized by".
    35. The nineteenth-century romantic movement in art was partially a reaction to what was perceived as overemphasis on reasonable and order in neoclassicism.
    D--> reasonableness

    I totally agree with harbinger. On Q6 , the tense of the verb should be changed to past.
    come---> came
    And, on Q14, what do "human naura" and "quire" mean?

    I think Q6 is ok, without changing the verb. I suppose the present is a historic present, that is a present tense that is referred to the description of the past.

    As far as Q14... I guess it's just a typo for "human nature" and "quite", isn't it?

    And finally, a last question: isn't Q35 reasonable -> reason?

    Thanks to everybody,

    Maurizio

    Hi friends
    You did a great Job. Your ans are OK to me.
    To harbinger:
    Qs 6 should be " come " is not " came" since we use a grammar structure: Make Sb do Sth

    Q14. I'm very sorry to type wrong words. They should be "human nature" and "quite".
