i think Bernadetta is correct because the word "Remarkable" is Adjective. After adjective it hould be a NOUN. So its Uniformity

According to my dictionary:
"Uniformity" is something like a standard among different parts of an organisation or a country
Ex: They tried to ensure uniformity across the different departments
so I think Bernadetta is right.

hey! 1vs1
I think "as well as" and "and" are the same in this case.

- "Uniform" is a noun so there is no incorrect position of nouns in the sentence, but "Uniform" does not mean "similarity" and I agree with Bernadetta.
- To Sweetkitty : "By 1830" and "had reached" cooperate to form the "Past perfect tense"
