Cool a question of inversion

I have seen this sentence in an email. (Here "attached" refers to an attachment in the email.)
"Attached you can find our latest update."

However, after reading TestMagic's Inversion I think the correct one is
"Attached can you find our latest update."

Am I right?

mkjackson81,

Welcome to TM.

The sentence you quote is common business usage (although I would more normally expect 'attached please find'). It is a statement of fact.

Your suggestion using can you turns it into a question.

Thank you very much for your response. I would like to hear reasonable reasons though. I am confused about inversion.

the inversion is only used if in sentences have adverbs such as: no longer,harly...when, not only.... but also, no sooner... than, until...I can't remember all of them now.See you next time.I will send you all I collected.

Tino 's dreams are becoming reality.
This is NOT inversion. This is a PARTICLE MODIFYING PHRASE.

The full sentence is:
"You can find our latest update which is attached."
WHICH IS ATTACHED is an adjectice clause modifying UPDATE (which is a NOUN in this case)
You can reduce the adjective clause this way:
"You can find our latest update <s>which is</s> attached."
You can then leave "attached" at the end or the beginning of the sentence.

Cheers,
