Hi my friends,
I have a question from the TOEFL Practice Test book, vol1. I don't know which grammar point is applied to this question. Can anyone help me please?
The question is:
- Nebraska has floods in some years, ........
(A) in others drought
(B) droughts are others, ====>
wrong becasue of no conjunction.
(C) while other drought =====>
wrong because of without a verb in while clause.
(D) others in drought. ====>
The problem is "others" VS "Nebraska", but no verb, no conjunction.
I chose (D) but the correct anwer is A. I think the answer should be "drought in others", isn't it?
any comment is welcome and thanks,
Tu
