Do we have to save/submit our typed essays?

Do we have to save/submit our typed essays in the toefl iBT writing section or it’s automatically saved and submitted when the time is up. I am little confused here.

People who have taken the test, please reply.

no my friend, i don't think that you'll have to submit or send your essay on the test day, i think it is automatically submitted.
i have taken the GRE exam and i didn't have to submit my answer on the topic, it is automatically sent on the test day.
