I think TOELF mainly test your ability to understands the IDEAS. Don't try too hard to remember SPECIFIC NUMBER and DATE mentioned in a LONG lecture or conversation or you may lose concentration on main ideas presented. Pay attention to SPECIFIC examples though.
In addition, pay particularly hard at the end of the talk, signaling by sentences like "Next I would like you to..." or "Now, I will give more details regarding...". The question "What the speaker would/will probably do next" appears quite frequently. |

I have gone through some of the example and they do ask questions which you can never remember..for eg they ask you how many type and name of fungus and then they give you few method of how animal hibernate and they expect you to remember all the methods!!. It is not that easy.

Hi, Zareen!!
I tell you my method. I just remember the first one or two alphabets of each such difficult names. For example, there are three kings, Akulamor, Balleyasuhh, and Cilindar, what you should remember about the names of the kings are A, B, and C. |
