What did the woman believe (before the conversation) ?
We should assume that the tester is asking about what the woman believes before the conversation. If the woman hadn' assumed that the man were in class, she wouldn't have asked him. So, she thought that he were in class and asked the question "Can I borrow your notes from yesterday's lecture?" In that kind of questions, I think we are generally asked about the feelings before the conversations take place. Such as: - What had the woman assumed? - What did the man believe? - What did the man think first? BTW, what do 'ur' and 'u' mean please ! |
