I try to improve my listening ability. Right now I am using the software (EnglishMaster from http://www.computerbasedtest.com) that provides me transcripts for all listening materials.

If I cannot understand something, should I

1. Keep listening until fully understanding everything, which may consume lots of time and be boring.

Or

2. Read the transcript immediately and listen one more time, which may not improve my ability really.

Any suggestion?
