I am comfused about following questions.
Could you give me your a favor to explain the reasons?

1. M: Are you sure you don't mind lending me your tent? I wouldn't be able to return it until next week.
W: Not at all. It' my pleasure and I hope you have the time of your life.
Q: What does the woman mean?

(A) She can't lend it out.
(B) She can lend it out but wants him to take care of it with his life.
(C) She can lend it and hopes he has enough time to enjoy it.
(D) She can lend it and hopes he enjoys himself.

2. M: The root of the problem is hard to get.
W: It becomes more clear after a second read.
Q: What can be inferred about the woman?

(A) She has read it more than once.
(B) She thinks it takes some time to understand.
(C) She wants to read it again.
(D) She thinks it is difficult.

Woman says she doesn't mind lending him her tent. And she expresses her wish for him to have a good time. The best option seems to be D.

"have the time of your life" means "enjoy yourself greatly". It's an expression.

The woman says the problem becomes more clear after second read. It shows that she has read it more than once and thinks that the problem is not difficult at all. The best choice seems to be A.

Hello, hsengoren.
Exactly, your answers are right.

M: The root of the problem is hard to get.
W: It becomes more clear after a second read.
However, about Q2, I am still confused by "a second read". the "second" means time or number?

Would you mind showing me the reason?
I would greatly appreciate for your reply.

Normally when we read something for a second time we understand it better. The more we read it the more we get it. "after a second read" means "after reading something second time (or third; or more than once) "
"second" refers to the number of the reading times.
