TOEFL reading passage

Hi guys,

I gave my toefl test from Kaplan CD. For some reason, I found the reading passage is kaplan test is harder than the other books. Even sample test on ETS site is quite easy.

Please let me know if you have any idea regarding the TOEFL reading passage standard?

hi silky i took it 2 times1st and 2ndreading passage willbe similar to kaplan.i mean they are difficult and 3rd passage will be quite easy.sometimes if we are lucky we may get easy passages.In my case i got tough passages.

Hi Silky ,
I had the test 4 times . I used 3 books , the ETS guid , Barrons and Longman . But I found that , lately the reading passage are more tough ....... harder than these books even the test sample .
I think you had to epect hard reading some times

Hi i m new on this site, but looks very appealing....plaese any one help me with IBT reading , this will be my fourth try, always ending up to 18 or 19 in reading. I have not applied for next exam but would be doping it soon. please suggest me ''how to improve reading section, I have 27 in listening 25 writting and 27 speaking and dammmmmm 18 in all four tries in reading..................help help help

Me too...when I"m practicin, I'm good. But when it's real exam I got nervous.
I took it 4 times already. I hope this coming December I can take it again...
