Hi.

I just took a powerprep reading test.

Now, I got a score of 26.

When I went through the answer key which I downloaded off
some website, I figured that I have got only 3 questions wrong in all.

i.e. 3 Q out of 44 were wrong!. I don't see how this could cost me 4
full points in the final RC score..

Do any of you have some idea about this?

Not all the questions in any of these sections carry equal points. you may loose more points for a tough question than an easier one... so once a raw score for 44 questions is calculated it is then converted to a 30-scale, where you might not find any linear relationship b/w the number of wrong answers and points lost...

Hi,
I still dont understand how Reading and other sections of the Toefle test is calculated, because soon I have to take the PBT (Paper Based Test)
Could someone explain me that...
