Poet, I'm not sure why you didn't receive my email yesterday, but you're welcome to join GROUP B on Friday for the TOEFL speaking session.

By the way, I just downloaded Skype 4.0 yesterday, and it looks like you can have 25 people in a group call instead of 10. If that's the case, then I won't have to cap participation at 9 students (plus myself). Almost anyone, then, could show up for the session, type me a quick chat (my ID is toeflcorey on Skype), and then I could invite you into the group call (and add you as a contact, if I hadn't already).

I suddenly got to know that my MBA program will need TOEFL score before Mar 11th to be considered for admission this year. The only date available in Chicago area was 27th, so I took it. Thank you, everyone, who participated in today's Group B session. I apologize for those of you who had trouble staying in the call. It seems like we may have isolated the problem: since the old version of skype only allowed 10 people (maximum) on a conference call and some of you are still using that version, it wouldn't allow you to "join" the group when we were already at 10-14 members.

For future sessions, please make sure you have the new, 4.0 version of skype downloaded and installed so we are all basically starting from the same place. That way, if you lose your connection, someone in the group can type the precise instructions for how to join again.

Despite some technical problems, I hope you all gained something and met some new friends that you can practice with. I will post again in this thread in the next few days once I have a clear idea of next week's schedule. I have to find a block of time with at least one hour free.

Thank you so much, that was definitely a great session. You did an excellant job, with so many distractions and all. I from the bottom of my heart wants to say THANKYOU. After attending your classes now I can say that I have a little more clear picture of how to prepare for Toefl. Before I was just going in exam with no preparation whatsoever. We will appreciate if you can give us some useful tips for q.4 or q.6. Looking forward to hear from you.
