Hi Sonson 2007 (and everyone else),

Let me give an update since many students have been leaving emails in a couple of different threads. Despite the fact that TOEFL is given throughout the year, my business of online lessons is somewhat "seasonal." Right now (May & June) it is the busiest time of the year and I am giving lessons 7 days a week!

Therefore, I have NOT been able to do any large group informational sessions on Skype like I did a few months ago. However, in the summer, if things slow down, I will start more sessions and announce them here so any interested TOEFL students can take part and learn some general strategies to attack the iBT speaking section.

In the meantime, if you are interested in lessons or would like a link to another site which shows one of my 2-hour classes for free each week, just send me a private message or email (I can't post the links here since it would violate the forum rules).

By the way, this is a very old thread I started months ago. I am an online TOEFL teacher who teaches live 1-on-1 lessons and some group classes, mostly on Skype. However, during certain times of the year, I'm not quite as busy and can go online to offer free informational group seminars (usually in December, January, or February). These past months, though, I have been quite busy both online and offline, so I haven't been able to arrange any new free sessions. If I do, I will announce them here on TEST MAGIC and anyone may attend (up to 25, I believe, which is the limit for a "group chat" on the new version of Skype).

Hi Amy,

I don't think I will be able to offer any free group sessions on TOEFL speaking this month (November) because I'm still quite busy with private lessons on Skype plus evaluating students' essays and speaking files.

However, December and January have been slower the past two years, so I may be able to set up informational sessions on Skype if my schedule permits. If I do, I will post an announcement here on this forum.
