Hi friends,

I was practicing the speaking questions posted in this forum. I came across this topic and could not make up any points for it. Can u pls help me with some points for this topic.

The topic is :

what object is important for us ? why

If it was given as 'object for you', then we can get some idea, but what can be any object which is important for everyone. Plz help me with this.

Tell them what is important and give yourself as an example.

if they are asking about an object , i would come up with , my cellular, or labtop, and take it from there.

Thank you. I also thought of cell phone or laptop. But i had doubt b'coz the question says "what object is important for us". This means that an object important for the whole world. So, a cell phone or laptop may be important for you and me, but may not be important for some other person.

Do you still think we can give this answer?

Remember, this is an opinion question, there is no right or wrong answer, so don't worry about "others", if you say cell phone, tell them why and don't worry about other people who don't need cell phones.

Hi n_baswa,
I agree with **************, because the concept of speaking section is how well you put ideas together, and how correct is your speaking regardless of are you right or wrong. Don't be afraid to express your own opinion since it answers the question.
