Task number # - what is your strategy?

Hi all!
My huge prolem about speaking - is that on the task number 4, where u read the passage and when listen to a lecture, i cant read the hole passage in 45 seconds. I can read, but it doese not go to my brain, i dont remeber the idea from where, and sometimes i can even finish the reading. But as i realised from the practice, ujually just a really smoll part of the text comtains the information wich require to answer question after lecture.
My question is - if where is any stratecy how to read those passages?
For example in reading i nether read the hole passage, but try to skim the first and the last centence of ech paragraph - and in 99% cases, it is enouth to answer the questions.
I didnt find any suggestions about it in the preparations materials. Can anybody share their thinks about it with me?

Tips for question No:4

Note taking:
Reading:
1.Note the general principle/idea from the first sentence
2.Note two points/concepts/characteristic about the main idea
3.Note the last sentence for the topic of the lecture.

Listening:
Note the specific information/examples for the general concepts

Preparation:
Use the 30 seconds on organizing your notes and how to relate the reading with listening.

Answer:
1. Introduction: Summarize the general principle/idea and state the relationship between the reading and listening- 15-20 seconds
2.Connect the specific information/examples from the listening with general concepts from the reading.
point one- 20 seconds
point two- 20 seconds

This is my way of answering question No:4, if there is any suggestions, tips/corrections please post it in this thread.

Thanks a lot, but i m afraid it is not going to work with me. Becouse i really cant take any notes - 45 seconds - it is not even enouth to read.
But do you read only particular parts of the assage? Or the hole passage and also take notes?

thank you for answering me.but what i needed is a plan ,format or an introdution for question 1 & 2.
i get very bad grades in speaking and i need 26

Usually the question is about your personal opinion or personal experience:

How to answer question 1 and 2 speaking section
* quick topic answer (5 seconds) immediately say your answer
* describe (15-20 seconds)
* reason (20-25 seconds)

Example Question: What book that has a great affect on you?
Answer:
* a book that has a great affect on me was entitled "Thousand Splendid Sun"
* it was written by Khaled Hosseini, the title came from the Persian poem
way back 17,000. The story was about the life of 2 afghanistan women
name Mariam and Laila and the effect of war to their life and the life of
people around them.
* this book has a great impact on me because it made me think that how
lucky I am to live in the country where there is peace and men and women have
equal rights.

Hope I was able to give some insights on how to answer the question on speaking section task 1 and 2.
