How can I get the money back after rescoring?

Hi everybody! I need some help please. I am planning to rescore my toefl exam, both the speaking and writing sections. I have to pay a fee of 120$, but I am not sure about refunding. If my score finally is being changed, will I get all the money back?

Once you apply for recore via FAX/mail and if ETS receives the request, your credit card will be charged. Also you can see in your order history about the order for recore. Mostly you have to keep sending the request with Duplicate/Resubmit noted multiple times before ETS receives it. I don't know why. I think they should start accepting this request online.

Now it takes 3 days to 3 months to do rescore. If your score change (lower or higher), you will see that online and also you will get credit of your money. Please check your credit card account for refund. Also you will received updated score via mail.

If your score does not change then only way you will know is by letter from ETS. Also you will not get credit. Online score also stays as it is.

I might add that speaking and writing is seperate, so if your speaking goes up or down will mean refund for $60 and only if your writing change will you get the other $60 back.

Finally I submitted for rescoring, hope to get my score up. This forum has encourage me to do it.

The first time I did the exam I got a 99, now I got a 97. First time my score was: S:22 and W:25. Now I just got a S:23 and W:22, but my feelings were that I did it quite more good the last time than the first time. Do you think I have any chance of getting my score up from 97? I need a 100 to apply for a master program.

If speaking score changes then it will be from 23 to 27 so that should be enough for you. Let's hope for good!
