The very idea they allowed "rescoring" means that they are sloppy about the way they assess the test.

So you think i should go for it (rescoring, as i know i didn;t do that great on the speaking part, i mean i did well, but didn;t answer some parts so well as i was distracted!)

I just got my Toefl results for the 27th of june exam & i got 24 in speaking & 22 in writing.I applied 4 rescoring in both parts & at the same time i registered 4 the 7th of August exam.My question is if my rescoring results didn`t appear be4 the 7th of August and i took the test and then i got the required marks in the rescoring but i didn`t got them in the August test,which results will they take or they can take either.I am afraid that if i got the marks in the rescoring and then got bad marks in the August exam so my rescoring will be useless.por favor, El Señor answer me bec i am very frustrated

They (University/NABP/any institute) can take whatever you want. Remember all the TOEFL scores are valid. When you apply use the old score. TOEFL score are valid for 2 years so use it before 2 years.

it does not matter if you get a lower score later, as long as one of the score is what you need.

Give it a try for the rescore first, it worth it, & if the financial issue is not a concern for you apply for both an exam & a rescore so as not to loose time, good luck

I got 24. I applied for re-scoring and I got 26. I recommend that you apply for re-scoring. And if the financial matters are ok, register for an exam because seats are taken quickly. best of luck
