So I am considering applying to Kings college London for a degree in law but they want 100 points with no less than 24 per section.
I scored 103 but with 23 on speaking
Reading-28
Listening-28
Speaking-23
Writing-24

Do you think that one point on Speak will make a dramatic difference.I bet colleges know that Speaking and Writing are highly subjective and scores dont only depend on us

If the collage is strict then they will not allow. If I were you I would contact the college itself.

Well,I know a guy who got into Edinburgh with 20 on Speaking,and Edinburgh insists on score no less than 23 per section,so I believe Speaking that my 1 point wont make such a difference

I just received an email and was told that I need to retake and meet the minimum requirements to be considered ;[ I will probably apply for rescoring.I only need one ****ing point

Hi,
I was in the same situation as you

For one bl...y point i had to take the whoel test again, i needed 103 i got 113, and they (Ontario College of taechers) required 28 on writing and speaking, i got 27 on the speaking and 29 on the writing, I asked them 3 times, NOPE they are too rigid and jsut follow the rules and don;t care. Sooooi had to take the test again this Staurday, and now i am in anticipation wht i did, but all teh money, stress and so on.....

Yes it is the best to retake it, don't waste money for rescoring, it didn't work for me, they just took my money

I only wonder how a person could make the 28 in both the reading and listening
then less than 24 in one of the rest ..........

mmmmm ..why don't you rescore .. u don't know they may give u that needed point ..

I hate the idea of retaking the whoooole for only 1 point needed

Well,I have taken the SAT I reasoning test and the Reading part was a piece of cake.The Listening one was also not very hard;I guess I had the required amount of luck

I dont know what happened with my WR score.2.5-3.5 on the integrated part,and 4.0-5.0 on the independent one.
