The following details are offered by Amazon: Paperback: 380 pages ISBN-10: 0071766588 ISBN-13: 978-0071766586 The 3rd edition was 453 pages. I'd guess that they moved one or both of the 2 practice tests out of the book. The new CD-Rom is improved, for Windows and MAC, having three complete practice tests on it. Let's hope they've managed to work the bugs out of it and have made some real interface improvements. They're also due to have some REAL AUDIO tracks to introduce the Listening Section (HELLO!). They're pitching the idea of having real ETS raters' comments on actual student responses. That's not new, so maybe they've added more of that, or maybe they've just decided to up their marketing game to focus on the kind of stuff that they can offer and no one else can. Hi mandrew The book is avaiable on amazon.com on paperback and on amzon.it on kindle. I also downloaded a free preview version on kindle and the exam from this preview seems the same. Now I'd like to purchase it on kindle format (is cheapest) but I do not know if amazon also provide a link for download the CD-Rom ( or only the exe for PC) with a separate link. On official website there is neither the new version of the official guide. ???????? I'll post here if I'll buy the book. I bought the kindle edition. Unfortunately for an editor's mistake there isn't the link to download the CD with the test (the file exe.) I talked with the assistance and they apologized for the inconvenience AT THE MOMENT you have two options: or papaerback or nothing, because of with the kindle edition you have only the book and the practice test on paper but you haven't the audio files and you can't simulate the original exam on your computer. As soon as I have news on this direction, I'll post here ;) eventhough I have a write-up to ETS: in this new guide for instance the passage about the Jackson modern presidency is the SAME of the third edition of the OG I do not know why ETS doing in that way, perhaps is the almost monopoly on the english exam for foreign students. Amazon says "This title is currently unavailable because customers have told us that there may be something wrong with the description, the content, or the way that the content is displayed." Is there any way you could send me the pdf file or whichever kindle format the book came in. I could pay for it, if you want to. Unfortunately I have no more the kindle because amazon refound me and remove the kindle edition book from my personal kindle. What is really unbelievable about ETS is that in its store you can't find the 4th edition neither. The positive thing is that I saw it entirely and the changes are insignificant.
