How could we trust downdowndown.net?

Do you think that downdowndown.net is useful and a thing we can rely on.

To me, the answer is not. Why?

I'll give you a couple of examples:

1. _____ ballet dancers learn five basic positions for the arms and feet.

(B) Of every
(C) All
(D) Every

2. The [people native] to the northwest coast of North America have long [be known] [for] wood carvings [of] stunning beauty and extraordinary quality.

The keys on the site is 1A and 2A. ?[V]No one knows why. [|)][xx(][xx(][!]

But besides that site I cannot find any place with extra TOEFL material.

Could you tel me about your "unforgettable" experiences with downdowndown.net?

Hello, ttaann. I understand your problem. I am sure that your keys are wrong therefore you please never believe on what you find in the internet. Downdowndown.com is very good site where you can download many actual Toefl tests. however there are tons of typos in these tests, so please beware.

Yes, you are right about the typos and wrong answers. I guess I'm lucky because I'm a native speaker and a TOEFL teacher, and I can see the answers easily, but I can imagine being very frustrated if I were learning another language and had this kind of material.

However, you're always free to ask here, and of course, if you can find the mistakes, that means you've learned a lot of English, right??

I think the good thing of wrong keys is: If your anwsers are right, but the keys are wrong, then you can check the answer again to make sure that you are right.

But the bad thing is: If your anwsers are wrong, but the keys are wrong either, then your answers are right according to the keys. [V][xx(]

And the worse thing is: you can know surely which answer is right, but it's very very difficult to recognize your mistakes. Now with the worse- of- the- worse keys [}][xx(], I bet that you will never find out that your answer are wrong.

Oh, what a dilemma .
