HI..

I have TOEFL coming up in next 10 days....

I understand that TOEFL would have 4 sections. But can somebody let me know its timings? Which section, how much time?

You must have already guessed that i am rushing through this stuff (asking abt the sections before 10 days to go for the test); so any and all sorts of quick tips most welcome...

Listening: 30 to 49 questions with 15-25 minutes to answer the questions. 40-60 minutes to complete entire section. The clock runs while you are answering questions, but not while you are listening to conversations and talks.

Structure: 20-25 questions with 15-20 minutes to complete the questions.

Reading: 44-55 questions with 70-90 minutes to complete the section (includes time spent reading passages and answering questions).

Writing: One assigned essay topic, with 30 minutes to write the essay.

Why dont you go through the power prep software? The tests given there are exactly how you will get in your TOEFL test.

Well here are the timings! There are four sections. The first one is the listening. It is of 15 minutes, this does not include the time spent while listening to the coversations. The next is the structure section which is also 15 minutes. The third one is reading which is of 70 minutes. The last is the writing one. You are given 30 minutes to write your essay!

I was wondering whether TOEFL has well defined no. of questions and timelines just as GMAT does.

I am going through Barrons and Powerprep.
