Help regarding toefl score reporting by phone

Hi,
Many Univs give just the Institution code and say that you dont need the department code for score reporting. This was fine with GRE when the automated voice asks to enter 0000 if no DC. but when I called the ASR service for toefl it says 00 for UG and Dept code for graduate studies. What should I do. Should I enter the respective DC even though they say it is not needed, or should I put 00 and hope it does not reach the wrong place. Has anyone faced similar problems...

Hi,

I was with the same problem. Today I called ETS.

They told me that all the scores would be sent to Graduate admission office first, then the office would distribute it to the deparment. So they asked me to put the respective dept code (in my case 78: CS) when ordering by phone. The admission office then decides whether it should be passed to the deparment or not.
