How to improve on the listening section

Hello!

I have started preparing for the TOEFL, which I'm going to take next month. In the Listening section, I am very much comfortable with the shorter conversations and talks. But.... I find it somewhat difficult to remember all points in a longer conversations and especially lectures. Is there any way I can improve on that?

Since I was new to this site, I din't see all the sections by the time I posted my first message.

Anyway, thanks for providing me with the link.

I saw the page and It was great.

I have another problem ...

I am from India. I bought the Barron's guide for TOEFL.
The book's nice but the Tapes I got were of very loww quality.
I cannot practice listening using those tapes.

I tried to get another copy from my friends, bt none of them have it.
Is it possible for me to download those conversations in some MP3 format or somethin? Is there any website which lets me do that?

Also, I read in you site that Longman's TOEFL is a great book for the prep. I tried hard to find it here but invain. I think It's too late and too costly for me to buy the book from a store like amazon.com.
Any help?

Hi

You can buy TOEFL POWERPREP from Palika Bazar or Nehru Place.
You can also check a shop called "BOOKWORM". Its in CP, inner circle.
They have lots of Books on TOEFL.......and that too Indian Edition.

If u need some help, you can mail me as well.

I've never seen Barron's MP3s... In fact, I've seen very few MP3s, period.

Have you considered writing to Barron's to complain?
