hello everyone,

Recently i finished my Toefl Exam and my scores are range is 189-249(L:26,S:09-27,R-22

)-->i messed up in reading section...alomst lost focused.Anyway i 'm here to seek advice on what will the Toefl reporting scores i have to retake toefl again.is it similar to Gre where the average of the scores are taken as final(more than once ).Kindly let me know about it.as i desperately want to retake toefl again as i dont consider anything less than 250 is good enough...let me know the duration i'm allowed to take toefl(CBT)again and if more ..please drop your sugesstions .

--->if i had to retake toefl again are the latest scores reported( like the best one of the two) or the average of two is calculated ....? how is it done ...any negative impacts if i retake toefl ..?

Don't worry! TOEFL is different from GRE/GMAT. TOEFL is just a measure of your English ability. It is completely possible that you could greatly improve your English in 6 months (for example) so schools will only look at the most recent TOEFL score. Who cares what your English ability was, they want to know what it is NOW.
You can take the TOEFL a maximum of once per month.

Thanks for cheering up(TINO).Toefl was totally disastrous .i wish.... i could have scored more in Reading section(never expected such a low scores) ,well i blame myself..as i didnt sleep the night be4 the exam and did showed the damage it had on me(Dizzy) ,couldn't read a thing .
well i need little clarification on the score reporting,cause i came across something about this--> if i take second time ( i mean toefl cbt) what scores are considered by universities ,will it be best of two or the average of two....?

i do need advice too hehe, atcually im not good with english too, when i do the pratice, i failed lol yea and the worth part is reading!!! i do not know a lot of word also i forgot all the grammar!!!

anyone here hav some tip for me to do TOEFL, plz help coz i hav to take it soon so
