PLS help me, reply wanted, (!! gr8 site indeed !!)

hey, billy.
i just got registered in your site 2 days back and trust me..the sites
TOO
GOOD. I hav already posted a few msgs. and the more I am reading the
more I am getting inspiration.. I got a GRE score of 1770/2400, before
the format changed.. my luck it changed a week after I gav my test...
went down in analytical which they elimainated later. feel like kicking
my fate. anyway plan to giv my gre. again hweyyy, please tell me whts the
situation out in US, I am from India, and they hav cut down our visa
prospects by 95% due to 9/11. I am scared that I might not get visa at
all. [V]

and please tell me in details how to apply for a grad school.. I dont know
how to apply. please tell me in details... awaiting your reply...u hav a simply faaaaabulous

Hey

I live in Pakistan and toda in my school today a Visa Officer from US embassy came.. She told us that NO VISA POLICY HAS CHANGED FOR STUDENT VISAS post 9/11. The criteria in hich visas were given is the same..although some extra checks r requird if you live in a uslim country like Pakistan but, they wont reduce your chances of visa on your background (or, atleast I hope they wont).

apaprt fro mthis, you r from India whic his not a Muslim country and so, the additional checks requird r not aplicable to u. I read somewhere in he newspaper that Aplication of Int'l students from India have increased tremendously over the past 2 years (maybe because earthlings like me in Pakistan dont wanna go there anymoe.or some other reason). So, you should feel lucky and go for it.

Hi swatasiddha

U should apply to universities directly by getting their admission forms on Universities website. A good site for US universities r: www.fastweb.com. GFo to this site, they have list of all the Universities in US.

I hope you also know that in most univ, SATs r reqd. Be prepared for doing that if you havent done it. And, SATs r more difficult than TOEFL!
