Question: Can I criticize American culture?

Everywhere that I read, it says: that to take a stand in an ETS test is imperative, if so, would political considerations which are against the American Life Style (or any culture, for that matter) on the whole, be a negative.

I need to know this because my AWA practise starts in a couple of days.

In general, it's okay to state whatever you think, as long as your belief is supported.

If I were to criticize any culture, country, or society, I think I would try to do so tactfully and logically.

If you could be more specific, for example, by providing us with an actual topic and what you would like to say, it would be very helpful.
