i want to know how long will it take to get the complete test scores for TOEFL
i am planning to write TOEFL on 24th november. but most graduate schools have fixed the deadline as 15th december.
if i write on 24th will i be able to get the scores before 15th december ?

It takes 20days for ETS to post the scores online after the test.
After posting online, ETS will send scores to u and to the Universities which u have selected. I think it takes 7-10days for the scores to reach u by mail if u r in the US.
But for that deadline, u can do one thing..
First send all the documents to the Universities like..Application, fee, GRE or GMAT scores, letter of recommendation s, SOP before the deadline and tell them that u have requested ETS to send your TOEFL score and also mention thy score. Im sure that they will accept because i did that for 2 universities and they accepted that. I think..they mainly need our application and application fee before the deadline.

so its OK for me to take the test on 24th nov ?
how much preparation is required for TOEFL anyway

7-10 days preparations is good enough. But practice speaking english every day.Be familiar with all the essay writing topics and independent speaking topics.
