I had registered for TOEFL iBT on 13th of January 2008 at Dadabhoy Institute of Higher Education, Karachi scheduled on 9:00 am. On reaching test center, I was informed that test has been cancelled by ETS and no new dates have been confirmed. I checked for any changes in my test schedules on online account but all in vain. There were no changes made neither for the test center nor the date or timings.

I have already applied for the graduate admissions with application fees submitted and relevent documents posted and was waiting to appear in TOEFL with requests to consider my scores in a grace period of time after deadlines. It would not be of any use incase I am not accomodated to appear in the test by the end of this week.

This all has been done in an irresponsible manner as none of the registered applicants were informed prior to the test date, no official/test administrator neither from ETS was present to discuss the reasons or to provide further information and we were left in a state of uncertainity.

Any suggestions, way out, similiar experience?
