Difference between Longman and Barron score estimation

Hi again,

Longman Next Generation IBT and Barron's IBT 12th Edition have different score estimation method...

For example,
if you have 28 correct answers out of 34 question on listening section...
Barron's chart show us that 24-26 out of 30 but, Longman chart matchs as 21-23 out of 30...also same problem is on reading section.Difference is not acceptable and confused me very much...

Which one has suitable for actual exam?...
What is the score of 28 Correct answers out of 34 questions?
Would experienced test takers help me please??

P.S: ETS official guide to TOEFL 2006 - McGraw Hill has also similar estimation to Barron's method..

According to the chart I'm looking at (in the Thomson book by Bruce Rogers), it says 28/34 on the listening would yield a scaled score of: 25 (out of 30)

Don't get confused by this... Just use percentages. dive your score by the total number of questions and that's it. 28/34 = 82% or around 25.
Remember that you should focus on the type of questions you are doing wrong, not in the score!
