    Thumbs up Congratulations!

    Soumya,

Congratulations on your passing score. You deserved it...

I got a phone call from Soumya about a good news of rescoring the June exam. After she got 45 for 6 times and she was sure that she made a big difference at the seventh. She finished all the answers in 60 seconds and spoke loudly and confidently. She decided to rescore the TSE.

She paid $50 and then received the score of 50 after rescoring. She will also get $50 back because the score has been changed.

Her computer was not really good so she asked me to post this news in order that you may request for the rescoring of the TSE and get the target score.(If you think that you made a big difference)

She would like to thank everyone and especially Mr. Erin(the web master) and Mr.Ken who gave a wonderful tips.

Enjoy your vacation in India next September. Congratualtions!

    Best Regards,
    Knok

there is a form at the tse bulletin. you have to download the pdf file of the bulletin and look for the page that has the rescoring request form. you can fax or mail the request together with your credit card info.

    Congrats Soumya!! You are lucky.
I too, had applied for rescoring on my April TSE score, but unfortunately got a reply that there was no change in the score. I felt that I did well in that test, but I doubt if it's because I was having a cold and sore throat on that day, maybe my voice and intonations didn't sound that good to the rater. Well, wanna make it this Aug.21st...

    Hi Messiah,
Good luck to u too for the TSE this week.
Just to remember, I'm repeating a set of tips that I read from this forum:
    1) Practice beforehand.
    2) Incorporate pauses.
    3) Close your eyes while speaking so that other sounds won't distract you.
    4) Smile while talking for a pleasant sounding voice.
    5) Open your jaw while speaking, the sound will come out louder and clearer.
    6) Enunciate key words(move your jaw, lips, and tongue actively).
    7) Emphasize important words.
    8) Slow down your speech.
    9) Get enough rest the night before.
    10) Relax.Take a deep breath and tell yourself this will be a good experience for you.
Let us pray for each other, and hope that all of us who are taking TSE this week will pass.

    Re: Congratulations!

Good Luck to everyone. We really need to pass this exam this time. I have no idea on the way of my preparation. As you all said we should be confident and loud in our speech. Hope God will listen to our prayers this time. Once again Good luck to everyone who is appearing for this month test.
