Hi, Test takers

As somebody suggested me to put the material in this web site and that is here as attachment. Pls try to organise answers properly and also correct grammatical mistakes as i haven't done it.

I replied and attached all these files who sent me a mail. however i couldn't send Advantage and disadvantage topic through mail so those people can download that from here.

i wanted to know how the test is taken..i mean the surroundings.is there a supervisor in the testing room or is it just the examinee?

me too, I'd also like to know how TSE is administered? according to your experience, is there too much distraction from other testtakers in the same room? Will we be allowed in at the same time or one by one?

Hi, Mehek and George,

Testing conditions differ from place to place. Let me tell u guys the arrangements of my testing centre.

They call about 15 students at a time in one testing hall. Every student have different phone lines but not different compartment. However when u listen through headphone, i didn't notice much noise or disturbance.

Some other testing centre, like in toronto, every student have different compartments, so they have least disturbance.

1. They provide you the question paper.

2. There are two different sets of questions papers. ( you will get one of two )

3. They connect your telephone line to USA or TSE ( i am not sure excatly where)

4. When line is connected, You will hear all the direction and information about when and how , you should give answer.

5. There will be two warm-up questions eventhough is not counted in the score, is necessary to give answers.

I have heard, not sure, that in some countries they record your speaking in Tap recorder and then they send to ETS.

I think this information is enough. if not pls let me know.

i have been looking at this website for almost an year.but never i registered myself.finally today i did it.i have already taken my tse 4 times i have been constantly getting 45.i am again taking it in feb .thank you shree ankit for ur postings.

Thanks a lot! I know you can pass the toefl because it's much easier compare to TSE.

I newly joined this group.abt my self...i am doing masters in pharmacy in univ of louisina at monroe...i am taking fpgee in june in new york.....i am taking tse for this only....my exam is on may 14 in dallas...
