    Re: Rescoring

    Hi, everyone

I am about to leave. Let me sing the same old song. Tsetestaker, we all got the same experience.

I faxed ETS to request of the rescoring of NOV this afternoon. But my fax printed out that there was transmission error even though I thought that I succeeded faxing the request.

To make sure I won't send the duplicated request, I called ETS asking whether they got my request or not. During conversation, to shorten the trip of the representative, I told her to also look at the other request of my OCT rescoring request since I haven't heard anything from ETS.

The respresentative said, "Nope, I haven't gotten any of your request of OCT and please call back in 10 days in order to check for NOV request whether we received the fax today or not. Or you can faxed both requests and put "Duplicate" on both requests." I decided to resend both requests by mail.

I am about to leave the house and have the mail ready to drop. Suddenly, the mailman walked to my house. "Bingo..." I got the score report of OCT TSE, 40. It was a copy of score report. What? I just got the answer that ETS did not receive anything 10 minutes ago. What a mess it is!

I did not regret for anything since I know what it is. I looked at the bright side. Good...I don't need to pay for rescoring since the score has been changed. It seems that we all had the same experience by receiving lower scores at the same month. Are the raters burning out from rescoring? I know that they did not get a good pay but must do the boring jobs.

I'd like to tell all the raters that the future of their country is in their dirty or clean hands.

    Angry Re: Rescoring

how can I request rescore on Dec. test? on website?
    I couldn't find the site on ets.org.
please let me know. I really need that process.

On the rescore form ETS mentions that it takes them 3-4 weeks to process the rescore. I called them back after 4 weeks and was told that my score had changed and the results were mailed. I did not receive the score after a week. I called them again and was told again that the score was mailed. Again after a week I did not receive the score. I called them today again and was told that my score was actually mailed out last week(and not the week before and the week before) as I was told previous times.

I got 2 of the rescore results back today. And guess what...I got 40. I can not describe in words the frustration that TSE is causing. It seems like a dead end with no hope in sight. I have been giving the exam for over an year now and have been getting 45 each and evey time. The bueracracy at ETS is worse than what I have seen in government agencies. And there's no where to turn to since the California Pharmacy Board and NABP are not very helpful either. All of us who have gone through the TSE experience need to come together and find out a solution to this problem.

    Post Re: Rescoring

    Hi,
U have to download the TSE bulletin online from ETS website. Then page 15 gives information abt rescoring, and page 29 has the form for Rescoring. The form can be faxed to ETS.
    Good luck.

    Re: Rescoring

    Oh, this can_do_everything_they_want ETS
Wanted to rescore my AWA result from GRE after receiving abysmal 4.0, when was almost certain that it`ll be 5.0+

reading your posts after experience with this allmighty organization, I`m glad that didn`t do that. Could ended with unfair 3.5

Have a hope in yourself guys, You`ll pass it as you want it. Everything applies to distribution curve. Even corrupted ETS results!!!
