    hello lightsay.

try to note down what went wrong in your performance and see if you can prevent it from happening again. it could be that you panicked. so do some relaxing exercises and build up your confidence again for the next test.
its normal to be uncomfortable in the first take. now that you've seen how the test goes, you can be confident and relaxed on next - this is important - relax!

dont register immediately for FEB if surely you wont be receiving your Jan result before the next exam. unless you are really, really pressed for time to accomplish TSE immediately. you may need to see your score to assess and evaluate yourself on where you should improve. was it speed? clarity of pronounciation? presence of "uhs and ahs"? distracting pauses? etc..........

giving yourself enough time between exams will help you become more prepared and not "hurried to get it over with".

this is just an opinion. i hope it helps, but its still your call.
    good luck

I agree with Lawu. If you still have time. I don't think that you should enroll for the next test without knowing the past score.
I am not sure whether you enroll for TSE-A or TSE-P. TSE-A is graded easier. You may pass it last month. Who knows. Let us know how much you get.

One of my friends just told me last night that he passed TSE in Nov. He insisted that he did poorly on NOV-TSE. He said a lot of ah, hr.. pause a lot, made stupid mistakes, and messed up many questions. After he got the score, he said, " I never trust and respect the evaluation system of ETS-TSE. I did very well, almost perfect on OCT-TSE but got 45. NOV-TSE was horrible for me but I passed." He looked at the score over and over because he did not believe his own eyes.

This kind of story was told over and over from many test takers. Just wait and see. If you have time, to pay safe, you may prepare for the next exam.

    Good luck.

You are a nurse. Why don't you take IELTS? Two of my nurse friends took and passed IELTS on their first attempts after failing TSE twice. That's a lot better. The procedure of IELTS for speaking is more pleasant. However, wait and see for TSE result. You got time.

    Good luck.

    Re: please help me

speaking about what Knok mentioned her friend "he looked at his score over and over and cant believe his eyes".... i kinda felt that way when i received my 50 on my 6th attempt.

i cried in relief. i hugged my 2-yr old daughter and danced with joy! mommy passed! mommy finally did it!.. she was just learning new words that she kept repeating "mommy did it, mommy did it!" ... i placed my score on a picture frame for my husband to see when he arrives... then i kept asking him what score do you see? is it really 50?

i may sound delirious or over-excited , but i have suffered so much in TSE that I have experienced all the kind of delays and policy changes that were unfavorable for a foreign pharmacist. not to mention the depression

life at home was at a standstill while waiting for TSE. .. cobwebs and dust left unnoticed ... only now did i feel energetic enough to do my winter cleaning....

my dearest prayers and hope are out to those still stuggling with TSE (esp Knok).... maybe God has other plans for you... or maybe you could lead the battle to NABP against TSE.... lobby on the congressmen.... or write a book about it or something...

Thank Lawu. You are so supportive. I am fortunate to have a friend like you, Elsie, Imported Pharm Intern, Robin, and many others that I did not mention. This is the reason that friends are for.

It seems like you can read my mind. All what you mentioned is what I have been thinking. I'll try my best. However, according to George, "Good guys end well." I believe that. God have already planned for us. Let's wait and see.

I am really frustrated about the process of FPGEE because of the delay. Yeah, we are in the same batch. Two years ago, the first month after graduating from MBA program, I got 2 jobs offering on the same week. One is a position of International Management of the top US pharmaceutical company. Another one is Walgreen.

It took me some time to make a decision. The first one, I must relocate to work in Latin America and move every six months in international bases of the company. How could I do that? How about my son in different countries again? Sound like fun. Another one, Walgreen required me to pass all exams since it was the state regulations. I could not work as an Intern since State law required me to pass all 3 tests. Walgreen gave me choices whether I would be a technician, $10/ hour or wait. I asked Walgreen, "How long does it usually take to finish the whole process of FPGEE?" The lawyer of the company told me that it took 8 months. Okay, I'd better wait. I took a chance. Since then, Walgreen kept asking me when I would finish the whole process.

Now, it has been over 2 years with the delay of the whole process. It took me one year to finish the FPGEE alone because of the security breach. That was not that bad though since this situation inspired me to get another master degree.

Let's see how long it will take. Giving the realities to the ones who don't know is very important. That information will influence their decisions which affect their lives and well being that may cause emotional trauma to the ones they love. People have different situations and needs. You will never know.

Just pray for the good things. Thank you.

Lawu2002, I am so happy for you. I am also a mother of 2 years old and I understand how you felt. I will probably do the same thing that you did when I pass this exam.
    Congratulations again,
    Ebru

    HI lawu,
I am very much uplifted by your story. You see had taken the TSE four times and still hadn't pass. This coming Feb it will be my fifth and i'm beginning to feel really frustrated. I am also a mother of 2 kids and what im doing is for the future of my kids. Hopefully, this time i will pass the exam. Now, im balancing my work, my household chores, taking care of the kids and reviewing for TSE. I really hope that all of the tse examinees will pass to reach for their goals.
God bless to all of us.
