Out of the given choices, a bicycle is the best mode of transport. It has changed lives of people due to its low maintenance cost, simple architecture and no dependency on fuel. The transformations it has brought in peoples' lives can be elaborated below.


Firstly, a bicyle is the most widely used transport vehicle. It is cheap and affordable thereby figures in poor man's budget.Example a top rated cycle costs far less than a car or a motor bike. Moreover, it is easier to maintain than an automobile or an airplane. It can be repired by self or in a local garrage. There are no dearth of its service centers. The parts of a bicycle such as bell,chain,tyre tubes ,are also widely avaialable.Its simple architecture also adds to its low maintainence cost. Besides this, there is no worry of cycle breakdown in winters or during rainy seasons.

Another plus point of a bicycle is its fuel independency. Fuels like petrol and disel are not required to run a cycle. Instead, it is driven by human energy. This makes a bicycle pollution free. For example, it neither pollutes air, soil or make noise pollution.
This factor of a bicycle makes it environmental friendly.

Thirdly, a bicycle is good from health point of view. Doctors advice obese patients to cycle to reduce weight and develop stamina.Thus, a cycle helps one in maintaining a trim body.In otherwords, a cycle is a good exercising device.Cycling makes good blood circulation and is helpful for people suffering from respiratory diseases like asthama.

Lastly, a bicycle proves best in traffic jams.For example, the light weight and small size, makes one to surge through crowd and road congestions with ease.It can also be carried on back while crossing railway tracks.It can run on any surface. Forinstance, it can run on hard surface, smooth roads and rocky mountains.

To sum up, a cycle's environmental friendliness, low maintainance cost, fuel independency and affordability makes it an ideal choice.Even majority of world still prefer cycle on automobiles and airplanes. Cycle is used by all categories of people, whether in rural , semi rural or urban areas.The acceptability of bicycle is greater than other two mode of transportation and will continue to be.
