TPO31: Because the world is changing so quickly, people now are less happy or less sa

Please pay special attention to the logic in the first main body paragraph:) Thank you very much.

Faced with such a fast-advancing society, people could not help but asking themselves whether life has become happier and more satisfactory? To such a question, my personal answer is negative. My reasons are as follows.

First, the students nowadays are placed under greater stress than ever. High school students are required to know more as the fast-developing society needs talents with more knowledge. Therefore, the subjects taught at school are becoming harder and harder and they are less likely to be content with their academic performance. Apart from academic pressure, university students still have to squeeze in some time for social activities which help them look better on their professional resumes in such a competitive employment market nowadays.

Moreover, the rapid social changes cause anxiety among the working-age population. As we can see, the global economic climate has been quite unstable during recent years, which means the income are basically not increasing. On the other hand, the property price and other daily expenses keep climbing up. A long term exposure to such pressure sometimes result in sleep deprivation, depression and other healthy problems which are afflicting a good many employees nowadays.

The retired are also the victims of the broadening generation gap. With various digital devices at hand, younger generations are being kept updated with ongoing changes in the world whereas the seniors still sit on their couch with limited access to information, such as newspapers. As a consequence, there will be less and less common ideas between generations. The elder generation feel more and more lonely.

All things considered, in such a fast-developing society, different age groups have different worries, pressures and trouble.
