Topic: - When people need to complain about a product or poor service, some prefer to complain in writing and others prefer to complain in person. Which way do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples to support your answer.
If someone wants to complain about any product or about any service, then there are two ways to complain. Some people prefer to complain in writing, because they find that way more comfortable, while some people prefer to complain in person. I always prefer latter way. In my opinion to complain in person about any product or about any service has more impact on opposite person than to complain in writing. The reasons and examples listed below will strengthen my point of view.
First of all complaint in person about any product or about any service has more impact on opposite person. For example if you complain about any particular product personally, you can discuss properly about that product with opposite person. You can present your point properly like why you don't like this product, what the problems it is causing and so on. Moreover you can listen what the opposite person is saying, what are his opinions about that and then if you find his points are not agreeable then you can keep your points again more firmly, which make a lot of impact on opposite person and may be he can agree about your points. In contrary to complain in writing doesn't make that impact on other person because many times he just read the complaint letter or mail and thinks “ok I will work on it”, but many times there is no guarantee like whether your complaint will really be considered or not.
Secondly the way of complaining personally works faster than the other way, because in this way if opposite person agree on your complaint, then he can solve your problem immediately. But complain in writing always takes lot of time. For example last week I had cooling problem in my refrigerator, so I complain about it by leaving a note at our housing office, but no one showed up that day to fix that problem. Then next day I complained it personally and after half an hour my refrigerator got fixed.
In conclusion, complaining personally has more benefits. Moreover this way is faster, easier than other method. So I always prefer to complain personally rather than to complain in writing.
