    Question British or American English?

In the essay: what if you write a word that only British people use, or write a word in the British way. Will the test teachers say that is wrong or will they allow such things? Who knows??

The difference between both versions appear in spellings. Therefore,it won't matter what language you use.Your ideas and basic grammar rules should come into play.

Ex: Colour(British) and color(American) mean the same but vary in spellings.A rater won't penalize you for doing this.
