A proverb says: "The fish starts to stink at the head". So the supervisor of a company is a very important person. He or she should have the following qualities: excellent organization skills, good personal management skills, the ability to take responsibility and some humor.

Firstly a supervisor is asked to organize a lot of thinks during his daily job, not only his thinks but also the work of his employees. He must be able to look forward all the time. The ability to organize business contacts is a must. A well organized company will reach a high outcome.

 

Secondly the employees of a company are absolutely important. Therefor it is important for a boss to be a good personnel manager. That means to have a natural authority, to have always an open ear for the belongings of the employees and the ability to imply a agreeable working atmosphere. And last but not least the boss should only require personnel with good professional skills.

 

Thirdly in a company, big or small, the most responsibility is always lying on the shoulders of the boss, therefor he must have the ability to deal with a lot of responsibility. he is responsible for the company and for the employees too. He or she will be the one who will be asked if something is wrong. He has to take care of the whole company each day and night therefor he has to be a responsible person.

 

To conclude I would say, the most important qualities of a supervisor are organization skills, personnel management skills and the ability to take responsibility. If he or she can mix these all up with a good portion of humor he is in the right position.
