Subject: In some countries, people are no longer allowed to smoke in many public places and office buildings. Do you think this is a good rule or a bad rule? Use specific reasons and details to support your answer.
Smoking is a bad habbit. It causes death. Governments should not allow people to smoke in public places and office buildings. In my opinion, this is a good rule. Because this rule can prevent non-smokers to be ill, can prevent bad smell and can help smokers to save money.
Everyone knows how smoking can damage people lifes. No one can say that smoking is not harmful. Although people know the effects of smoking, they still smoke. Why? Because when they were young they were curious and they just tried smoking. In addition, later they became addicted to it. Smokers both damage themselves and other people around them. If smoking is not allowed in office buildings people who work in that office can easily get lung cancer.
Another reason why governments should not allow smoking in public places is that smoking provides bad smell everywhere. For example, you are very hungry and eating in a restaurant. When I try to eat my lunch If someone smokes there, its smell really disturbs me and I can not eat anymore. However, if smoking is not allowed there won’t be any kind of this problem.
Finally, most smokers smoke couple of packages cigarettes. In addition, these packages costs a lot if you smoke everyday. By forbidding smoking, smokers can save money and this will be benefit for them both economically and healthly.
In conclusion, because of the reasons above, govertments should prohibit smoking in public places and office buildings. In addition if we want to inherit livable world to the next generations we, all, must quit smoking.
